Business Policies Nothing in these conditions affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Placing an Order 1.1 We invite you to study our selection of furniture carefully. On placing an order with us you are offering to buy goods. 1.2. If the goods are no longer available, or a mistake has been made in pricing or invoicing, we will telephone or email you declining the contract. 1.3 The Pine Warehouse Ltd will store your data privately and securely. Please do not hesitate to call us on 01224582899 for any queries.
Delivery 2.1 A delivery charge is levied on all orders. 2.2 Deliveries are restricted to the Scottish mainland only. Islands deliveries can be mutually arranged. 2.3 Deliveries to ports and carriers of the customers choice for onward destinations can be done, however we take no responsibility for the condition of the goods upon your receipt. 2.4 The Pine Warehouse Ltd shall not be liable for any delay in delivery out with our control. 2.5 The drivers are unaccompanied, the goods will be left at the nearest point inside your house. Any further movement is entirely at the drivers discretion and at the customers risk.
Cancellations and Returns 3.1 You have the right to cancel the contract within 7 working days after delivery. 3.2 Upon cancellation you must return the goods to us at your expense, in the original undamaged packaging in perfect condition. We can arrange collection, a charge will be made usually between £30 and £50, this will be deducted from your refund. 3.3 When the goods have been returned and checked a refund will be made only by the same payment method. Any deterioation in the goods on inspection will be charged accordingly.
Faulty Goods 4.1 If there is a problem with your goods, please contact us at The Pine Warehouse Ltd Tel. 01224582899 and 'we will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights. We will arrange for a replacement item to be delivered as soon as possible and the faulty item to be uplifted. If the faulty item is structurally sound we advise you to use it as normal. 4.2 Within the parameters of colour reproduction on our website we cannot guarantee exact colour matches, therefore we do not accept as a fault the shade of our furniture to vary from what was expected. 4.3 Where items are described as 'distressed' or 'reclaimed' this refers to the wood and not the finish. The items will contain cracks, shakes, splits, nail holes in a random manner and will not be regarded as faulty. With this type of furniture these may occur after purchase especially if the item is placed in direct sunlight or close to a radiator. We do not regard this as a fault.
